Veolia: Bryan Garnier positive after Bordeaux contract

(CercleFinance.com) - Bryan, Garnier & Co.
has confirmed its buy rating on Veolia this morning, based on reports that the utilities group could take over Bordeaux's wastewater treatment contract from Suez. The broker maintains its target price of 22.5 euros for the share.

This morning, the metropolis of Bordeaux said that Veolia is “likely to be awarded the wastewater contract of Bordeaux in France for the 2019-2025 period” (this has historically been operated by Suez).

However, the broker's report acknowledges that even if Suez were to lose the contract to Veolia, it would only have a limited impact both companies' EPS estimates.
