Veolia: selected by Le Mans Metropolis.
(CercleFinance.com) - Through its subsidiary CFSP, Veolia, has signed a contract with Le Mans Métropole to operate La Chauvinière wastewater treatment plant.
In all, this contract is worth approximately E 60 million, i.e. 16.38 million euros for the construction section of the new works by OTV-Veolia and 43.5 million euros for its 9-year operation.
Work will begin in 2018 for commissioning by the end of 2020.
The Chauvinière station will produce energy and biomethane, from wastewater and will be able to inject into the gas network the equivalent of the consumption of all buses in Le Mans metropolis.
