Veolia: big aims in recycling.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening via a press release Veolia reported that it aims to increase its revenues from recycling five-fold by 2025.
While the global market for recycling plastics is expected to almost double within the next 8 years, the global number leader in water and waste processing said that it is currently developing its network of expertise, formed from units of collection, sorting, preparation and processing of plastics, to produce recycled resins.
More generally, Veolia stressed that the production of plastics has been multiplied by 20 between 1964 and 2014 and thinks that it will be multiplied 5-fold by 2050, reaching 1.12 billion tonnes.
