Dassault Aviation: delivers first Rafale to India
(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Aviation announces the delivery of the first Rafale of the Indian Air Force (IAF), during a ceremony at its Mérignac site, which houses the combat aircraft's final assembly line.
"The ceremony, 3 years after the signature of the contract in 2016 for the acquisition of 36 Rafale to equip the Indian Air Force, marks the concretization of the strategic relationship between India and France," the company said.
As part of their commercial relationship, Dassault Aviation points out the construction of the production plant of the joint venture, Dassault-Reliance Aerospace Ltd (DRAL), in Nagpur and the creation of the "Dassault Skill Academy".
