Dassault Aviation: Falcon 8X certified by EASA and FAA
(CercleFinance.com) - The Falcon 8x has just received its European (EASA) and US (FAA) certification for an increased system of vision, which extends the operational capacity for low visibility approaches up to 100 ft.
This system significantly improves access to airports in the event of bad weather and therefore greatly improves a fleet's efficiency.
The FalconEye Option has been available on the Falcon 8x from the beginning of 2017 and on 2000lxs/s and 900lx since October 2016. The system will also be available on the 6x Falcon, the new ultra-wide fuselage, which is due to be commissioned in 2022.
