SEB: 10.7% growth in H1 operating result
(CercleFinance.com) - The manufacturer of small household electrical appliances Seb has posted H1 2019 net profit of 100 million euros, up 9.
8%, with an operating result from Activity (ORfA) of 230 million euros, up 10.7%.
Sales came in at 3,337 million euros, up 10.3%, including organic growth of 8.4%, a positive FX impact of +0.5% and +1.4% resulting from changes in the group's consolidation scope, reflecting the consolidation of Wilbur Curtis since 8 February.
For 2019, Seb has set itself the target of organic sales growth of over 7%. Based on current exchange rates, and taking into account a very demanding second half of 2018, it aims to increase its published ORfA by around 6%.
