Essilor: new stage in merger with Luxottica.
(CercleFinance.com) - Essilor has announced a new key milestone in its merger with Luxottica.
Essilor International's board of directors confirmed that Essilor's businesses would become subsidiaries by the end of 2017.
Essilor will contribute its activities and shareholdings to one of its subsidiaries (formerly known as Delamare Sovra), which has been renamed “Essilor International” and which will continue operational activities that are currently carried out by Essilor.
This subsidiarisation is one of the conditions precedent for the completion of the contribution of Luxottica shares held by the company Delfin.
