Colas: losses increase slightly in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Colas, Bouygues' road construction subsidiary, has reported a net loss (group share) of -232 million euros and an underlying operating loss of -293 million euros for Q1 2022.

Revenue increased by 19% to 2.4 billion euros (+12% LFL), while its order book reached a record level of 12 billion euros, up 12% year-on-year at constant exchange rates and excluding major acquisitions and disposals.

Colas points out that its Q1 results, which are affected by the heavily seasonal nature of its businesses, are not representative of the full year. Colas say that in 2022 revenues should be significantly higher than in 2021.
