Colas: H1 loss deepens
(CercleFinance.com) - Colas has reported a H1 2020 net loss (group share) of 295 million euros, down 193 million euros y-o-y, with a loss from recurrent operations of 304 million euros, down 168 million euros.
Bouygues' roadworks subsidiary's sales declined by 17% to 4.9 billion euros (-15% LFL), with the fall due to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic being estimated at around 810 million euros.
"On the basis of data known to date and excluding additional unfavorable changes in the health crisis, the decline in revenue and current operating profit in the 2nd half of 2020 compared to 2019 should be significantly lower than in the 1st half".
