Colas: losses deepen in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Colas has published a Q1 2018 net loss, group share of -218 million euros, compared to -195 million euros at the end of March 2017, with an underlying operating loss of -302 million euros, against -264 million euros in Q1 2017.
The road construction group's turnover amounted to 1.9 billion euros, down 2% from Q1 2017 (+1% at constant consolidation scope and exchange rates). Sales in France came in at 1.2 billion euros (-1%) and were 700 million euros internationally (-2%, and +4% at constant consolidation scope and exchange rates).
At end-March 2018, the group's order book amounted to 8.4 billion euros (+8% compared to end-March 2017).
