Peugeot: 100% electric vans from 2021 onwards

(CercleFinance.com) - PSA group has announced the launch - as from 2021 - of 100% electric versions of its range of vans.

Following the 2020 launch of electric versions of the compact van (Van-D) and heavy-duty van (Van-E) ranges, in 2021 the four brands Peugeot, Citroën, Opel and Vauxhall will complete their offering with 100% electric versions of their vans (Van-B) and passenger car variants.

The electric versions will be assembled at the Vigo plant (Galicia, Spain), along with their battery packs. Their electric motors will be assembled in Trémery (France), and their gearboxes in Valenciennes (France).

Since 2019, all new models launched by PSA Group will be powered by a 100% electric or rechargeable hybrid engine.

The car maker aims to offer a fully electrified range by 2025.
