Peugeot: sells 1 million vehicles in H1 2020
(CercleFinance.com) - Peugeot has announced global sales of 1 million vehicles in the first half of the year.
Worldwide sales almost doubled in June compared to May, on the backdrop of the coronavirus crisis.
In Europe, the group's sales recovered strongly in June (sales doubled, with deliveries up 71% compared to May) in a European market that is down 39% in the first half of 2020.
The group remains focused on its CO2 performance and has confirmed its plans to comply with European standards by the end of 2020.

Acting this way, we more than ever feed our ambition to provide clean, safe and affordable mobility solutions to our customers," said Carlos Tavares, Chairman of PSA's Managing Board.
