Peugeot: vehicle sales down 10% in 2019
(CercleFinance.com) - The PSA Group says that it sold 3,488,930 vehicles worldwide last year, down 10% compared to 2018.
Excluding Iran, the car maker's consolidated sales volumes contracted 6.6%.
The group managed to maintain its position in Europe, with a market share of 16.8% in a market that expanded slightly (+1.3%), while its international business was "focused on profitable growth and manufacturing footprint development".
In addition, the group points out that it has already launched 10 new rechargeable or all-electric hybrid models, in line with its aim of offering a range that is 100% electrified from 2025, and even 50% by the end of 2021, with 13 complementary models.
