Citroën: PC car sales up 13% in July

(CercleFinance.com) - Citroën has announced monthly growth of nearly 13% (+12.
8%) in passenger car sales, despite the market falling by nearly 2% (-1.8%) in July.

The Brand is the only one to see over a one-point rise in market share of passenger cars (PC) in July (+1.5 point) and since the beginning of the year (+1.3 point). Citroën reached the symbolic threshold of 11% of the PC market share since the beginning of the year, and even 11.5% in July.

The only French generalist brand to post growth in its PV registrations since the beginning of 2019, Citroën is also the brand that posts highest growth of the Top 15 car makers in France (PC) over the first seven months of the year, the group said.

Regarding LCVs (light commercial vehicles), Citroën posted growth of 6.2% in July and reached a market share of 16%.
