Citroën: car registrations up 39.2% in August
(CercleFinance.com) - Citroën has recorded 39.
2% growth in its new registrations in France in August 2018, outperforming the market (+35.1%), with over 18,600 new registrations (PC + LCV).
In the Passenger Car (PC) market, Citroën recorded nearly 13,700 new registrations in August 2018, up 42.4% (compared with August 2017), again outperforming the market (+40.0%).
Citroën C3 notched up over 5,200 registrations in August, meanwhile registrations of the new compact C3 Aircross SUV exceeded 3,300.
The new C4 Cactus sedan registered an impressive growth of 46.3% (compared to 1st generation C4 Cactus in August 2017).
Meanwhile, regarding light commercial vehicles (LCVs), Citroën recorded nearly 5,000 registrations in August, up 31.2% (compared to August 2017), well above market performance (+12.6%).
