Peugeot: may soon manufacture another model in Poissy
(CercleFinance.com) - At an extraordinary steering committee meeting this Friday 31 August, PSA Group has announced that it is studying the possibility of manufacturing an additional model at the Poissy plant, and that new details may be communicated about this by the end of 2018.
The Poissy plant currently produces the Peugeot 208 and DS 3, and, by the end of the year, will launch the production of a new DS Automobiles model that will inaugurate the CMP (Common Modular Platform) multi-energy platform on the Premium Compact segment.
Thanks to an investment of 150 million euros, this will also be the first site of the PSA Group to manufacture on its flexible lines purely electric versions of this model on the eCMP platform.
