Peugeot: profit growth in the 1st half-year.
(CercleFinance.com) - Peugeot publishes a group share of net profits of 1,256 million euros over the first six months of 2017 compared to 1,212 million in the first half of 2016, with turnover of 29,165 million, a rise of 5%.
For the automobile division, the group cites a record current operating margin of 7.3% for turnover of 19,887 million, up 3.6%, chiefly thanks to the success of new models and its price discipline.
“This record performance has also been possible thanks to the engagement of group staff, who continue to be dedicated to achieving the objectives of the Push to Pass plan”, comments CEO Carlos Tavares.
