(CercleFinance.com) - Peugeot has posted the best growth amongst French brands, with volumes up 7.
4% in H1 2017 (16,465 vehicles).
The group's market share reached 17.4%, up 0.6 point, compared to the same period of 2016.
The overall market PC + UV is up 3.5% for all auto manufacturers.
Over the first six months of the year, Peugeot sales were up 14.6% y-o-y in a UV market that rose 6.3%. The group's market share rose 1.3% to 17.2%.
The brand therefore confirms its 2nd place in the market for French car makers, for the second year in a row.
