Kering: 2019 recurrent net income up 15% at E3,211.5m

(CercleFinance.com) - Kering has announced 2019 revenues 15,883.
5 million euros, up 16.2% as reported and up 13.3% on a comparable basis, with strong growth in all geographic areas.

The group benefited from very strong growth at Gucci (+13.3% on a comparable basis), while Saint Laurent's revenues rose by 14.4% on a comparable basis. It also announced a return to growth at Bottega Veneta (+2.2% on a comparable basis), thanks to the success of the new collections.

Its underlying operating income amounted to 4,778.3 million euros, up 19.6% y-oy (restated for the impact of IFRS 16). The Group's underlying operating margin reached 30.1% in 2019, up 0.9 point compared to 2018 (restated for the impact of IFRS 16).

EBITDA amounted to 6,023.6 million euros in 2019, up 18.3% y-o-y (restated for the impact of IFRS 16).

Finally, net income, group share was 2,308.6 million euros, reaching 18.40 euros per share. Recurrent net income, group share reached 3,211.5 million euros, up 15.1% compared to 2018 (restated for the impact of IFRS 16).
