Kering: new CEO for luxury Swiss watches
(CercleFinance.com) - Kering has announced the appointment of Patrick Pruniaux, the current CEO of Ulysse Nardin, at the head of Girard-Perregaux.
As from today, he will take charge of Swiss luxury watch companies, within Kering's watch and jewellery division.
"Patrick Pruniaux's role will be to devise a coherent strategy for accelerating the development of the two Maisons in international markets, while at the same time maintaining their unique characteristics, their ability to innovate, and the excellence of their know-how," the luxury group says.
Patrick Pruniaux has over 20 years' experience in consumer goods and luxury goods - especially in Watchmaking. He previously spent nine years working at TAG Heuer and many years at Apple, including country director for the UK and Ireland.
