Kering: wants to distribute its Puma shares to its sharehold
(CercleFinance.com) - Last night Kering announced its plan to distribute the bulk of its stake in the German sports equipment manufacturer Puma to its shareholders, which would make the group a "pure player" in luxury goods.
It is a matter of distributing in kind about 70% of the total Puma shares in issue, considering that Kering holds 86.3% of Puma's total shares.
the end, the French group will hold about 16% of Puma shares in issue.
Artemis, the holding company of the Pinault family, which controls 40.9% of Kering, would hold about 29%, with the German group's free float would then climb to around 55%.
