Kering: leader of the CAC 40, with an analyst's backing.
(CercleFinance.com) - Up 1.
5% today, the Kering stock is the sharpest riser in the CAC 40 index, even after soaring by 90% over the past year.
This rise that could be linked to optimism from broker Barclays Capital, which this morning raised its target price for the share by 12% to 375 euros.
The broker still believes that the Kering share (parent company of the Gucci brands, Bottega Veneta, YSL and Puma) is the best investment in the luxury sector.
Indeed, growth at Gucci, Kering's flagship brand, is set to continue, while Bottega Veneta is recovering, and "Balenciaga has the potential to be the 'next Saint Laurent," and that Puma, eventually should be sold by Kering.
