Thales: consolidated net income up 3% at E1,121m

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales' 2022 revenues amounted to 17,569 million euros, up 8.
5% from 2021 as reported, and up 5.5% in organic terms, in particular driven by the strength of its Digital Identity and Security (DIS) businesses.

New orders for FY 2022 will reach a new all-time high of 23,551 million euros, up 18% compared with 2021 (+16% in organic terms, i.e. at constant scope and exchange rates).

At 31 December 2022, its consolidated order book stood at 41.0 billion euros, a new all-time high, up over 6.2 billion euros from the previous year.

Adjusted net income, group share is up +14% y-o-y at 1,556 million euros. Consolidated net income, group share, reached 1,121 million euros, up +3% compared to 2021.

This solid momentum should enable the Aerospace sector to record high-single-digit organic growth over 2023 and 2024, and achieve an EBIT margin of 8.5% to 9% in 2024, close to the pre-Covid level of 2019.
