Thales: AVANT Up system supplied to Emirates aircraft
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales says that 50 Airbus A350-900 aircraft ordered by Emirates, which are set to be delivered from 2024, will be equipped with its latest AVANT Up in-flight entertainment system, which introduces a number of innovations to the passenger experience.
The group said that AVANT Up will provide Emirates with an enhanced live TV solution, and passengers will benefit from a wider choice of channels and live information, all in high definition during their flight.
Featuring 4K QLED HDR IFE displays, containing over a billion colours, AVANT Up also features USB-C fast charging for passengers' electronic devices, and customises their in-flight entertainment experience.
