Thales: contract with NATO to deploy NCOP 2
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced that it has been selected, along with GEOS, to deploy the NCOP 2 (NATO Common Operational Picture) software application to some thirty NATO sites, training end-users on this decision support tool in operations.
This system's deployment, which aims to provide NATO command forces with a shared view of the joint operational situation, will take place at both fixed and deployed operational sites.
Selected in an international tender, Thales is demonstrating its ability to support its client at every stage, from system design to operational commissioning, the defence electronics group said.
