Thales: completes acquisition of RUAG S&T
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has completed the acquisition of RUAG Simulation & Training, a company with 500 employees, that generated sales of around 90 million euros in 2021.
The consolidation will enable Thales to strengthen its expertise in solutions for helicopters and military aircraft. This acquisition is an opportunity for Thales to strengthen its local presence in priority geographical areas (France, Switzerland, Germany and the UK), as well as the United Arab Emirates and Australia.
Thales said that the synergies between Thales and RUAG S&T will accelerate the deployment of next-generation hybrid solutions, combining global expertise in synthetic environment and real-world training.
