Thales: signs cooperation agreement with Weibel
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales and Weibel Scientific have signed a cooperation agreement.
The agreement opens up joint international export opportunities through the integration of Weibel's short-range ground mission radars into the portfolio of radars developed by Thales for ground-to-air defence (GBAD) and anti-drone missions (C-UAV), Thales said.
In particular, this agreement enables Thales to enhance its portfolio with the brand new XENTA family of high-performance radars designed for short-range ground missions.
Thales will also offer the Danish Army's ground-to-air defence forces a joint solution integrating Weibel's XENTA-M5 radar into its advanced GBAD solution.
