Thales: 9m sales down 5.6%
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday morning, Thales published its order intake and sales as at 30 September 2020.
Over the first nine months of the year, the group recorded sales of 11.7 billion euros, down 5.6% (-10.5% like-for-like).
Sales fell most at its civil aviation (-45%) and aerospace (-23.5%) divisions.
Over the first nine months, order intake was down to 9.2 billion euros, down 12% y-o-y.
However, the group confirmed all of its 2020 financial targets and says that its teams remain committed to " implementing the global adaptation plan, which is expected to generate savings of some E800 million in 2020," said Patrice Caine, group Chairman and CEO.
