Thales: chosen by China Eastern Airlines for B737s
(CercleFinance.com) - China Eastern Airlines, one of China's three major airlines, has chosen Thales/ACSS to equip its fleet of B737s with Thales' transponders.
The selected transponders provide more detailed information, faster update rates and more accurate position information, thereby significantly improving flight safety and efficiency.
For Chinese commercial and general airlines, it is also a question of complying with new regulations (notably the CAAC DO-260B mandate) by carrying out the necessary retrofits.
Thales/ACSS are the leading suppliers of DO-260B-certified transponders in both China and the world.
