Thales: offer for Gemalto declared unconditional

58% of Gemalto shares were tendered to the offer.
The settlement-delivery of shares tendered to the offer will occur on 2 April. The remaining shares may be tendered during the period when the offer is reopened, which will begin on April 1 and expire on April 15.
If, after this reopening period, Thales holds at least 95% of Gemalto's issued share capital, it intends to initiate a squeeze-out procedure. Gemalto will be consolidated in Thales' financial statements as from 1 April.
