Thales: launches pilot assessment solution
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has presented HuMans, an innovative solution for real-time and objective monitoring and evaluation of pilot behavior that is based on the latest advances in non-intrusive measuring devices and sensors.
The tool is integrated into its flagship flight simulator, Reality H. Sensors measure and record the parameters of the flight and mission, audio communications, the trainee pilot's actions, and, most importantly, the monitoring of his gaze by eye-tracking.
The data recorded during the exercise is synchronised, contextualised with the simulator's data and according to the mission conducted. It is then processed using powerful and innovative models, Thales said.
