Thales: organic growth almost 8% over first 9m
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced 9m 2018 sales of 10,873 million euros, up 6.
2%. At constant consolidation scope and exchange rates, growth reached +7.9%, driven by strong growth in the transport and defence & security sectors.
New orders over the period amounted to 9.468 billion euros, up 7% (+9% at constant consolidation scope and exchange rates). Over this period, the group won 10 large orders worth over 100 million euros.
Confident in Thales' ability to achieve its annual targets, Chairman and CEO Patrice Caine now expects to "reaching the top of the ranges announced last March, both in terms of organic growth and EBIT".
