Thales: 'a clear sky' for Oddo; still a buyer
(CercleFinance.com) - An Oddo BHF analyst today announced that he is maintaining his "buy" recommendation on the Thales stock, believing that "the sky remains clear for the electronics group specialising in aerospace, defence, security and land transport.
Visibility remains impressive on most of the businesses in the group's portfolio, with, in particular, improved momentum in Europe illustrated by the recent European Union decision to directly invest 30 billion euros in defence or by the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between France and Germany. Neither can the company see any changes in terms of financing terms for its programs, the broker says.
Assuring that the finalisation of the deal with Gemalto will enable management to provide more details on the resulting level of synergies, which will boost the consensus, the analyst also confirmed his target price of 128 euros for the share.
