Thales: wins two contracts with Eurocontrol
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales today announced that it has been selected by Eurocontrol to strengthen the cybersecurity of its information systems, and to support the European organisation in its digital transformation in partnership with Cegeka, a Belgian company that is specialised in advanced IT.
Faced with many challenges, sustained growth in traffic, competitiveness and environmental issues, air transport companies have begun a profound change that is based on a better sharing of information through digital technologies, Thales said in a statement.
To help Eurocontrol cope with the development of cyber threats, Thales will rely on one of its five cybersecurity operational centres. Eurocontrol's teams will also be trained in the management of cybercrises, thanks to tools and services developed by Thales.
