Thales: strengthens partnership with Singapore Airlines
(CercleFinance.com) - At the current Aircraft Interiors Expo, Thales and Singapore Airlines have strengthened their partnership by announcing the airline's selection of Thales' FlytCARE services for its A350 XWB medium-haul fleet.
Singapore Airlines had already equipped its A350 XWB aircraft fleet with Thales' IFE AVANT onboard entertainment system and the Ka-band connectivity solution.
Under the FlytCARE agreement, Thales will carry out the maintenance and support of the entertainment and in-flight connectivity systems, ensuring that they meet the most stringent standards in the industry.
In addition, Thales has concluded an agreement with Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIAEC) by which as soon as an aircraft lands at Changi Airport, experts of the SIAEC will board it to perform maintenance operations on equipment.
