Thales: successful rocket launches
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced the completion of two successful H145M Helicopter trials for 70mm/2.
75” "Non-Guided Rockets in Hungary and 70mm/2.75" Laser Guided Rockets (FZ275) in Sweden.
It fulfils the precision strike needs of the armed forces worldwide by reducing the risk of collateral damage, particularly during asymmetric combat operations.
"Armed forces are increasingly involved in urban environments, and Thales's priority is to help them reduce the risk of collateral damage," the high-tech group stated.
After these successful test firings of Thales' "FZ275," as well as the former ones in 2014 from Tiger Combat Helicopter with the Thales "Aculeus" induction laser-guided rockets in 2014, the final qualification for both laser-guided products is planned for the end of 2019.
