Thales: creates joint venture with Vector
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales, through its German subsidiary Sysgo, has announced the creation of a joint venture with Vector to work on the critical issue of multiple software managing innumerable functions for connected and autonomous cars.
The aim of this partnership, with this specialist of embedded electronic systems for cars, is to jointly develop, very rapidly, an embedded software platform, improving both performance and cybersecurity.
The French group specifies that a version of the joint solution for prototype applications should be launched in 2018 and serial versions for security control units are planned for 2019.
