Thales: wins ticketing system contract for Bangkok metro.
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales indique avoir été sélectionné par l'opérateur Bangkok Expressway Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), ainsi que par le groupe CH.
Thales has said that it had been selected by Bangkok Expressway Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), and CH.Karnchang Public Company Limited (CK) to equip the extension of the blue line of the Bangkok metro with a ticketing system.
The extension of this line will see another 19 stations opened. Scheduled for March 2020, it will enable over 230,000 additional travelers to use the line each day.
The contract won by Thales will cover the deployment of ticketing systems at these 19 new stations. The group will also train local teams responsible for deploying and maintaining the system.
