Michelin: takes stake in RPWA.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday morning Michelin announced that it is taking a 40% equity stake in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RPWA), a world leader in wine tasting and rating.
Founded by the US businessman Robert M. Parker in 1978, the RPWA Group is the international reference for wine appraisal. It currently has offices in California, Napa, Maryland, Monkton and Singapore.
The RobertParker.com website also contains the 300,000 comments that have been published in each edition of “The Wine Advocate” since 1992.
