Sodexo: acquisition in home care in UK
(CercleFinance.com) - Sodexo has announced the acquisition of The Good Care Group, a UK-based company that provides home-based caregiver care services for people requiring daily assistance or complex care.
It provides tailored live-in care services to consumers, in their homes, for people who require assistance to live independently, or, have complex care needs.
This acquisition - whose financial terms are not disclosed - enables the French services group, which is already present in the UK home care market with Prestige Nursing + Care, to expand its offer in the country.
Following this acquisition, Jonathan Bruce, current managing director of Prestige Nursing + Care, will become the CEO of Sodexo's UK home care business, with support froom Belinda Berkeley, the current Managing Director of The Good Care Group.
