Sodexo: acquires Swiss group Novae Restauration
(CercleFinance.com) - Known notably for its mass catering services, Sodexo this morning announced the acquisition of the Swiss company Novae Restauration, which it presented as the leader in upscale catering.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been specified.
Founded in 2003, the target company employs 700 people who serve over 80 prestigious sites in French-speaking Switzerland. Novae's daily menus include 80% fresh ingredients and at least 50% local produce (within 200 km), Sodexo adds. It did not specify the target's sales.
Novae Restauration will continue to operate under its own brand, and its management team will remain in place.
