Wendel: NAV up 4.2% per share over 12 months
(CercleFinance.com) - Wendel has announced Net Asset Value (NAV) of 172.
7 euros per share as at 24 August 2018, up 4.2% year-on-year, with a net loss, group share of -0.9 million euros over H1 2018, compared with +31.3 million a year ago.
Net income from activities rose 1.4% to 240.4 million euros, with the negative impact of the deconsolidation of Saint-Gobain, for consolidated sales that are up 3.1% to 4,175.4 million euros.
"We plan to continue to harvest opportunistically our portfolio and to deploy capital selectively in companies which meet our rigorous investment criteria," said board chairman André François-Poncet.
