Faurecia: towards potentially big acquisition in the autumn.
(CercleFinance.com) - Through its CEO Patrick Koller, Faurecia has outlined its aims in terms of acquisitions.
A major deal has been expected for a long time now that the Group has paid off its debt and an announcement could be made in October.
In this context, Patrick Koller said that Faurecia is considering providing itself with a fourth "technological" division, in line with "its DNA," via a "significant" acquisition, which could be presented to the board of directors in October.
Aurel BGC adds this morning that the acquisition would cost within the limits of an investment capacity of two to three billion euros. In October, Patrick Koller will present the directors, as he does each year, the update of the company's strategic plan, with different options for external growth.
