Eurazeo: E70m investment from European fund
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has announced that the European Investment Fund (EIF) has made an initial investment of 70 million euros in the Sustainable Maritime Infrastructure Fund, managed by Eurazeo.
The EIF investment is supported by the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), the main pillar of the Investment Plan for Europe.
The Sustainable Maritime Infrastructure Fund aims to support the transition of the global maritime industry to a net zero economy by 2050.
With a total of 200 million euros raised, the fund has already reached over half its target volume to date.
