Eurazeo: completes acquisition of stake in Albingia
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurazeo has announced the acquisition of Albingia, through a company-investment with Finacière de Blacailloux.
The group has therefore invested around 263 million euros for the acquisition of 70% of the group's capital, based on an enterprise value of 508 million euros.
For the record, the investment company announced at the beginning of July an entry into exclusive discussions with Chevrillon and IDI for the acquisition of this insurance company.
As a unique independent player in the insurance of companies on the French market, Albingia collected premiums of over 220 million euros in 2017, with a net combined ratio of less than 85% and has a balance sheet of almost one billion euros, it said.
