Eurazeo: participates in Europcar's fund raising.
(CercleFinance.com) - Holding company Eurazeo has announced that it has participated in Europcar's capital increase, the car rental company that will buy out Goldcar, while having its stake in the group slightly diluted.
In detail, Eurazeo contributed 30 million euros to a total private placement of 175 million euros, i.e. slightly over 17% of the full amount.
Before the transaction, Eurazeo had a 42.4% stake in Europcar, meaning a 48.7%-control of the group, according to the group's website. After the deal, its stake will fall to 39.2%.
