LVMH: 9m sales up 11%

(CercleFinance.com) - Published after trading on Tuesday, LVMH's sales over the first 9 months of 2018 reached 33.
1 billion euros, up 10% as reported and up 11% in organic terms compared to the first nine months of 2017.

In detail, all businesses contributed to this new double-digit rise in nine month sales. The contribution from the "fashion and leather goods" division (LVMH's main business) amounted to 13.06 billion euros, up 20% and up 14% in organic terms y-o-y. The "selective retail" division generated 9.55 billion euros in revenues, up 2% and up 8% in organic terms.

Also the "fragrances and cosmetics" division, "wines and spirits" and "watches and jewellery" generated 4.41 billion, 3.57 billion and 3.02 billion euros in revenues respectively, up of 8% (+14% in organic terms), 1% (+7% in organic terms) and 8% (+14% in organic terms).
