Bic: normalised EPS down 35% in 2020
(CercleFinance.com) - Disposable consumer product company Bic has announced 2020 normalised EPS that is down 35% to 3.
54 euros, and a normalised operating margin that is down 2.9 points to 14.1%, for revenue of nearly 1.63 billion euros (-12.6% on a comparable basis).
The group is maintaining shareholder remuneration at 121 million euros, including 81 million in ordinary dividends (or 1.80 euro per share) for 2020, which will be paid in June 2021, in addition to 40 million euros in share buybacks.
Based on current market assumptions, in 2021 Bic expects sales growth of +5% to +7% at constant exchange rates, and free cash flow generation in excess of 200 million euros.
