Bic: H1 earnings down 45%
(CercleFinance.com) - Bic has published H1 2018 net income, group share that is down 45% at 70.
8 million euros, with a normalised operating margin of 19.6%, against 20.3% in H1 2017.
Revenues of the consumer products manufacturer reached 959.3 million euros, down 10.5% as reported and down 1.9% on a comparable basis, with the difference largely due to a negative FX impact of -7.4%.
"Our outlook for the full year is unchanged. We remain focused on delivering on our goals and leveraging the value of our brand as we continue to engage effectively with our consumers," said CEO Gonzalve Bich.
