Pernod Ricard: investment in a flavoured whiskey
(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard USA has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Skrewball, the first super-premium peanut butter flavored American whiskey that was created in 2018.
This tasty combination has established itself as one of the most popular within the flavoured whiskey category and has enabled the brand to pass the half million nine-litre case sales mark in 2022, it said.
Pernod Ricard points out that flavoured whiskeys are one of the fastest growing categories of spirits in the US, accounting for a quarter of total whiskey sales in the country, the world's largest spirits market.
